Description:
The Non-Directional 418 MHz People Counter is a battery operated, infrared beam sensor with a built-in radio transmitter. The people counter consists of two sides; the IR transmitter and the IR receiver. The IR transmitter puts out a cone of infrared (IR) and allows easy, instant alignment across a door or passage. Installation & activation takes just 2-3 minutes.
Proprietary algorithms cause the IR receiver to distinguish the beam from any other IR source. This allows accurate operation without interference from sunlight or ambient lighting. The receiver side has a 6-digit liquid crystal display and a radio transmitter for truly automated counting.
These extremely small people counters measure 1.8”H x 2.1”W x 0.8”D and weigh just two ounces.
When mounted on either side of a door or passage, can count across a 25 foot span.
